Petra by Night
The excursion departs from Petra visitors center every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at 8:30 PM, returning to the visitors center around 10:30 PM.
Petra Kitchen
On one of the nights while you are in Petra you can enjoy a night of cooking local cuisine at the Petra Kitchen.
Our representative will pick up you from the Sheikh Hussein border the best-preserved city of the Roman times. From there, we will drive to Amman and spend the rest of the day exploring Amman. Amman is a fascinating city of contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. During our tour, we will visit the Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman Theater, Rainbow Street, and visit the town for shopping. We will spend the night in Amman.
Included Meal: Breakfast
We will start our day with breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Petra via the desert road to the south of Jordan. We will spend the day in Petra. The home of the Nabataea’s, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage- are thousands of years old. The tour will start by crossing the “siq” lined with mountains in multiple colors up to the treasury, royal tombs, theatres, places of worship and Roman soldiers' tombs. We will spend the night in Petra.
Included Meal: Breakfast
We will start our day with breakfast at the hotel. You will have a free morning in Petra and then we will travel to Little Petra in the after noon. Little Petra is an ancient village on the outskirts of the Nabata capital. The village was completely excavated in the rocks, and during the Nabatean period, it was used as a deposit for their caravans. After Little Petra, we will drive to the Wadi Rum Desert. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy a 4x4 Jeep trip to Wadi Rum, following the footsteps of Arabian Lawrence. After the tour, transfer to the Alava border.
How To Get To Jordan?
By air: There are two international airports in Jordan: Queen Alia International Airport in Amman and King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba. We recommend that your fly into Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.
By land: If you are coming from neighboring Israel or the Palestinian Territories, you have three border crossing options for arriving in Jordan: King Hussein Bridge in the north, the Allenby Bridge near the Dead Sea, or Wadi Araba on the Red Sea.
